- Unidentified flying objects a phrase that was coined by Captain Edward J. Ruppelt.
- US Air Force started Project blue book and Captain Ruppelt was the director, after leaving this post he wrote a book called “The report on unidentified flying objects”
- Starting in 1947 as project sign then evolved into project Grudge
- Basically, a genuine attempt to investigate reports of UFO’s basically getting to the bottom of that.
- The biggest case in blue book was July 1952 over the US capital building
- Air traffic control Edward Nugent noticed 7 flying objects that he could not identify on his radar screen, and they were outside of authorized airspace, this sighting was confirmed by 2 other air traffic controllers and made the national news. At Andrews air force base airman william brady reported seeing objects like fireballs in the sky and the speed and maneuverability was unlike he had ever saw.
- 1 week later the same thing happened
- Project blue book spokesman Albert M Chop denied reporters request to take pictures of the radar screen.
- LT William Patterson locked onto one of the objects and started pursuing it but it was to fast
- The calculated the speeds of the objects from 1,150 to 7,000 miles per hour (Mach 2 to Mach 9) we achieved Mach 1 in 1947 Mach 2 in 1954 and we hit Mach 9 in 2004.
- President Truman got very angry and gave the order to scramble jets and shoot the objects out of the sky.
- General John Samford spoke to the largest press conference at the pentagon since WW2. And assured the public that there was no secret development by any US agency.
- Since this time in 1952 declassified governments documents have reported sightings near or around Nuclear weapons facilities but information about these events have been kept under wraps or denied.
- November 1952 Desert Center CA, George Adamski saw with a group of friends a cigar shaped object in the sky
- He then left the group and walked to the craft had landed and was spoken to non-verbally by Orthon from Venus, and was warned about the threat of imminent nuclear war.
- He has met him since and speaks very good English December 13th 1952 George took a photo of the craft from Venus but was debunked and was compared to a surgical lamp.
- After Ruppelt left and recent years later and to this day they were given orders to explain these events as explainable like weather balloons, hoax,
- Joseph Allen Hynek was a scientist hired by the pentagon to advise on Project sign, grudge, and blue book.
- Desiree Hurtak knew Joseph Allen Hynek publicly and privately and stated that Joseph was paid to cover up the stories and Joseph quickly learned that he was being used due to his investigations of these sightings and could see behind the scenes.
- Project Blue Book was shut down on 1969 and the archive made public in 2015
- When Project blue book was shut down it had accumulated 12,618 UFO sightings. 701 of these cases were labeled unexplained.
