Secret Societies | The Bilderberg Group

The Bilderberg conferences were established in 1954 as a private three-day conference between approximately 60 leaders of politics, finance, and industry designed to foster dialogue between North America and Europe. It was initiated by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands. It was held in the Bilderberg Hotel in Oosterbeek, Holland, and the meeting takes place every year in a different place. The climate between Western Europe and North America was marked by a certain manner of distrust and suspicion, owing to the then-burgeoning influence of post-WWII and Cold War politics on both sides. Seeking a way in which representatives could better establish diplomatic ties, organizer Jozef Retinger—a Polish political advisor then in exile from his native homeland by the Communist regime—sought to contact both top advisors and industry heads from other European nations, who in turn contacted then CIA-head Walter Bedell Smith and Eisenhower advisor Charles Douglas Jackson to lend their support. Subsequently, fifty delegates from 11 European countries and 11 delegates from the U.S. attended the first conference held at the Hotel de Bilderberg in the Netherlands from May 29-31 in 1954. The meetings were a rousing success, and soon became inaugurated as an annual conference held worldwide, with attendees now numbering between 120-150. Retinger’s background is worth noting, since his background during WWII remains unclear. It is clear that he met with top leaders of the Polish Underground who were then under Soviet annex in 1944. Yet certain factions viewed him with mistrust; was he working on behalf of German occupying forces? Allied forces? The then-exiled Prime Minister Wladyslaw Sikorski? The question remained unclear, and he survived several assassination attempts before his exile in 1947. What is known is that both Sikorski and Retinger were strong supporters of a European unification, and that the latter helped found both the Council of Europe (a concept which was wholeheartedly proposed and embraced by British Prime Minister—and Freemason—Winston Churchill as early as 1943) and the European Movement International between 1947 and 1949; both of which are direct precursors to the current European Union.   Briefly put, both organizations were strong promoters of the concept of a fully integrated and centralized “United States of Europe” in which a centralized European parliament and Constitution would be directly applicable to all citizens under its purview, regardless of which respective national region they dwelled in, each subject to applicable centralized law and edict. Enlisting various high-level industrialists and lobbyists and directly influencing United Nations decisions, these integrated European movements
Within the realm of overt secret societies, the Bilderberg Group enjoys a certain notoriety as operating under policies of exclusivity and privacy. Paradoxically, it has never denied its existence, and lists annual members and chairmen of its conferences openly, even publishing its findings and reports. Yet surrounding them remains a veil of secrecy and elitism that causes the casual observer to ponder what the real motivations are behind their seemingly diplomatic and benevolent facade.

Members and attendees of the Bilderberg conferences have included: Citigroup Vice Chairman Peter Orszag; AXA CEO Henri de Castries; Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris; Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands; former US Congressman Richard “Dick” Gephardt; Former President Bill Clinton; U.S. Senators John Edwards, Dianne Feinstein, John Kerry and Sam Nunn; former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and Condoleeza Rice; Xerox CEO Paul Allaire; former BP CEO John P. Bilderberg Group

The group is named after the Bilderberg Hotel in Oosterbeek, Netherlands which was the site of the first gathering in 1954 organized by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands.

The original group which met in the eponymous Dutch hotel in 1954 was gathered by Jozef Retinger and included David Rockefeller, with Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, as chairman

Prince Bernhard was a member of the SS (Schutzstaffel), a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party

Bilderberg was originally spearheaded by him and then later Etienne Davignon, a Belgian politician.

Overview:

Every year, The Bilderberg Group enjoys a near complete media blackout with regard to their meetings, so they receive absolutely no scrutiny from the press whatsoever.

Heads of state, bankers, royalty, CEO’s, billionaires – sometimes flying in from halfway across the world to meet in secrecy in a hotel for 3 days. But we’re led to believe that nothing important goes on there. That their conversations have no bearing on world events.

As leaked documents from the meetings over the years have shown, whatever is discussed and agreed upon in the Bilderberg Group conferences, soon ends up shaping policies and laws around the world.

We also have a 2010 interview with Willy Claes – the former Secretary General of NATO and two time Bilderberg attendee, where he stated that attendees are expected to implement policy decisions that are formulated at Bilderberg.

So, think of Bilderberg as a steering committee that decides global priorities and policy

Bilderberg also has very strong connections to the intelligence agencies like the CIA. So we can think of these agencies as the worker bees of this global institution.

We also see this from leaked documents from the 1954 Bilderberg meeting that discussed the creation of the European Union and a central currency for Europe long before it became a reality. A few years later in 1957, we can see the EU slowly taking shape with the formation of the European Economic Community that merged the markets of 6 European countries. And then ultimately the EU was formed in 1993, containing 28 nation states.

They also collude to manufacture booms and busts in the global economy so they can have insider knowledge to further enrich themselves. They discussed the housing market crash in 2008 well before it happened.

World leaders are selected from the group’s membership as well. Bill Clinton attended in 1991 when he was just the Governor of Arkansas. He was then elected as President of the United States in 1992. Angela Merkel attended in 2005, only months before becoming the German Chancellor.

How the Bilderberg Group was discovered:

1957 – Pulitzer Prize winning columnist, Wesbrook Pegler published the first article on the Bilderberg Group, although he did not know their name at the time. He got tipped off by one of his readers and decided to look into it. This was the first time the group was discussed in the media. While not knowing their name, he was able to associate the group to some of the individuals involved with the meeting on Jekyll Island where the Federal Reserve was born.

Jim Tucker – He became the world’s foremost knowledge expert on the Bilderberg Group and tracked their meetings from 1975 until his death in 2013. His book, “Jim Tucker’s Bilderberg Diary” is a comprehensive expose of the group’s dealings over the years. He revealed that he had gained the favor of an insider that would leak information to him regarding what was discussed in the meetings and where they would take place, etc.
